This is a direct hire position on-site role for a Production Manager at Construction Materials company in Kansas City, KS. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing production processes, managing staff, ensuring quality control, and optimizing production efficiency. Master Environmental, Health and Safety Programs, conducting necessary employee training. Strategically allocate headcount across multiple production lines based on demand. Develop a Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) program and manage the associated budget. Supervise outbound product practices, ensuring quality inspections and proper documentation. Collaborate with vendors for procurement of manufacturing and production supplies. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all manufacturing processes and production equipment. Plan and execute full physical inventory activities, optimizing processes and managing variances. Coordinate trucking logistics through commercial carriers, company trucks, or customer plant pickup. Assist in the hiring process, screening applications, and conducting candidate interviews. Manage workforce productivity, ensuring maximum efficiency. Potentially lead and supervise plant production leads or plant employees.
